My OMazing Story

In 2018, I moved to France with my kids who had been in a dual-immersion since first grade. My daughter started 5th grade in France and my son, 8th. I hoped we’d live in France for a year, and I definitely thought my husband would join us.

My husband had to stay in Park City and work. He generously “funded our fun” The three of us lived in Aix En Provence from August-Christmas. I have since referred to this time as my “Spiritual Sabbatical”

The dream of living in France started with the seed of intention. I believe in the power of intentions not because they are magical, although maybe they are….but when I named specifically what I wanted, what it looked like, what it felt like, I could then start to make actionable steps. It started by finding an apartment, then buying our tickets, finding a school, quitting my job.

I returned from France and certified to be a birth doula and a childbirth instructor. I worked with couples teaching for the University of Utah and privately for the next six years.

I followed the thread of curiosity. One thing lead to another and from 2019-2021, I certified to be a prenatal yoga teacher, postpartum doula, lactation counselor and a perinatal mental health provider.

In 2020, I co-founded Hive Family Collective.

Hive is non-profit that supports, educate & connects postpartum families.

In 2023, I graduated from MMTCP: Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program. My teachers Jack Kornfield & Tara Brach, mentor Emily Horn and my peers showed me the way to a more peaceful path. I am currently sharing my OMazing insights through my writing and weekly 15 minute Instagram offerings. I continue to study and teach both yoga and mindfulness.

I work with clients 1:1 to support their journey navigating messy lives.

Occasionally, I still work as a birth doula.
